Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team for a global talent-matching platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs. You’ll work closely with frontend engineers, product designers, and data analysts to ensure smooth data flow and efficient system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
Integrate third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, OAuth, cloud storage).
Optimize database queries and improve system performance.
Implement robust authentication and authorization logic.
Collaborate with frontend teams to support API-driven UI components.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Participate in code reviews, planning, and deployment cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of backend development experience. Proficiency in PHP, Node.js, or Python. Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases. Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and MVC frameworks. Knowledge of version control (Git). Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. Good communication and teamwork skills.
